1:13.0 | but what does that actually mean? After all, to embrace means to hold closely in one's arms, |
1:20.5 | which in the literal sense is of course impossible, since a process isn't something you can |
1:26.9 | physically hold. So how do we hold things in process? |
1:31.8 | What does it mean to embrace the process? To embrace the process is to be present to the part of the |
1:38.9 | journey you're on without letting past or future points on the journey hinder you. It's the act of being conscious of the fact that every day you wake up, |
1:48.6 | you're entering into one part of a larger story that is still unfolding. |
1:54.3 | And whether or not you feel aligned with a larger goal or a plan every single day all day or not, even when you're not thinking about it, |
2:03.8 | just by being here, you're a part of something bigger. So may you never let society or individuals |
2:11.1 | in your life cause you to think that you have to be actively working towards some larger goal in your life every single second of the day. |
2:21.8 | It can be incredibly beneficial to plan, but it can be even more beneficial to be present to this very moment, |
