Well, hello there. My name is Morgan Harper-Nacles. I I'm an artist and a writer, and this is a space where I share words that I hope can make a little room for you to slow down and take a few deep breaths as you prepare for whatever lies ahead. Thanks for being here today. And now on to today's episode.

In one way or another, at various points in our lives, we are brought to a point of having to feel deeply.

Whether it's in response to a major shift in our lives or in the world, whether it's joy, sorrow,

heartbreak, or happiness, to feel is a vital part of the human experience.

As an artist and writer, I think about feelings a lot, because for me, so much of my art is about

getting to the heart of things.

What this process of spending time with feelings has taught me is that to feel deeply is to enter a pretty wild place,

a wild space that doesn't have well-paved roads to help guide you through, but instead winding paths through

less traveled foot heels that often leave us wondering, when will I ever find the clearing?

So whether you consider yourself to be a deep feeler, a sensitive person, or not, inevitably, at some

point in all of our lives, we are going to have to face deep emotions. While it may be more

frequent for some, we all have this in common. We each have a heart that beats inside of us,

and we have experiences that happen in our

lives beyond our control that cause us to feel. Having to face this reality is heavy on the human

mind and heart. We may even dream of what it would be like if we could just know what was going to happen so we could prepare what we need be like. If we could just know what was going to happen so we could

prepare what we need to feel. If we could just somehow prepare ourselves for that phone call
