Today I want to answer a question that I've gotten pretty frequently since I shared my birth story.

Well, technically my son's birth story, but my

birth experience because I shared about how my birth didn't necessarily go

according to plan and I ended up with a C section that I was not planning for

or even wanting so that's its own story. We'll be sure to link that

episode in case you missed it but ever since sharing that story I've gotten asked what my

recovery looked like how I support your scar healing?

I shared like a video and a photo that kind of showed my scar and I had quite a few questions.

Like what have you done to support your scar healing and your scar recovery?

So I thought I would just kind of share some of that

on the podcast and I would dive into some of the things that I did,

but I want to make a disclaimer that in no way do I have all the answers on this.

I'm sure there's plenty of things I didn't do right or plenty of things I'm missing I am not

the expert I've only done this once but I did consult experts I did it

consult you know providers of mine like a public floor therapist and different

experts who could speak into ways to best support my body through

healing from a C section, C section, scar recovery, detoxing, you know I had people ask

like how did your detox because you have to be on a lot of meds for a

C section they kind of have to you know numb your whole body casually not your whole body
