I've always wondered why in Ephesians chapter 6 that's where God begins in describing for us

the whole armor of God. And yet that's exactly what he does. In Ephesians 6 verse 13, we read,

Wherefore taken to you the whole armor of God

That you may be able to withstand in the evil day

And having done all to stand

And then he says stand therefore
