0:09.4	This is Scott Pauley, and I'm excited about studying the Word of God with you today.
0:13.9	We're dealing with some current questions and Bible answers.
0:17.3	And aren't you glad that the eternal Word of God addresses current questions at every
0:23.3	age, at every stage in life, no matter what's going on with you, no matter what's going on in the
0:28.7	world, the Word of God leads us to truth. The Word of God is truth because it has come directly
0:36.9	from God.
0:38.1	Today we're dealing with a question that multiple listeners have submitted in varying forms,
0:43.8	and it is a question about what happens when we die.
0:48.0	We know in Scripture that there is a material part of man.
0:52.4	That's your body.
0:53.8	That's what people see. That's how you interact with
0:56.2	the world and people around you. But then there is the immaterial part of man, the hidden man,
1:02.2	the inner man. We refer to a man's soul where he thinks and feels and chooses. Then scripture
1:10.0	talks about a man's spirit,
1:12.5	the eternal part of the man that lives on forever.
1:17.1	And so what happens to each part of us when we leave this world?
1:23.9	There's a certain mystery to death.
1:25.7	We've not done it before.
1:27.4	And when we come to the end and we breathe our last breath here
1:30.9	and we leave this world what happens when we die.
1:35.9	Well, let's go to the book of Ecclesiastes first.
