And the reason I love the Bible is because it is the Word of God that leads us to the Lord himself.

the more I study it, the more I love him. I want to give you a scripture today as we begin our

current questions and Bible answers. From Psalm 12, a Psalm of David, he writes in verse six and seven,

the words of the Lord are pure words as silver tried in a furnace of earth

purified seven times thou shalt keep them o lord thou shalt preserve them from this generation

forever what words did you hear the plural the words of the Lord are pure words, not just

collectively, individually. We believe the very words are given by inspiration of God. The very

words are inspired. And this is important. They're not only inspired, they're preserved. Did you know

preservation of scripture is actually mentioned more in the Word of God than inspiration is? So it's not a

lesser doctrine. In fact, God talks about it more because I think he knew there would be always dispute and debate

over the preservation of Scripture. But don't you know that a God powerful enough to give

his word perfectly to start with is powerful enough to preserve his word to every generation?

This is my deep conviction that our pure God gave us his pure word and that God makes sure that that pure

word is preserved. This is the teaching of Psalm 12, 6, and 7 and of many other portions of

scripture. And I think this phrase is important from this generation forever. It's my conviction that God has promised to preserve his

word to every generation, which means that the Lord wanted to be known. And how is he known? He
