Sometimes when I'm walking by, I, the airport that is, I see a plane take off and wonder where it's going.

I've got an app on my phone, which I will check and tell you in just a moment.

All right, I just pulled the app up that I have on my phone, which in case you're interested, is flight aware.

And I can now see the icon of the plane that just took off from the Myrtle Beach International Airport.

And this is kind of cool.

All right.

It was a is, not was, is a Spirit Airlines flight. At the moment, it is 1900 feet. I can still see the plane as I'm looking at my app. That's just kind of cool. And they're headed to Orlando Florida so of course I'm now

wondering how many people on board are heading to Disney World or Universal or

something in the Orlando area for a vacation and how many are leaving Myrtle Beach because they came from Florida to spend

vacation time here don't know won't know and that's the last time I'm going to ask that question.

So yeah, the airport is to my right. Not immediately to my right. I'm on a sidewalk. There's a road with a double yellow line, on the other side and no cars on the

road at the moment then there's a big field and a fence and on the other side of

the fence is the airport runway I can see the terminal and I see one, two, three airplanes at the terminal.

There may be more, but that's what I can see. We have a small airport, not a huge airport,

but it's a very busy airport and they've actually been expanding the airport.

I think I meant to say airport, not airport.

And I don't think the new terminal is open yet.
