Okay. So why don't you turn with me to Luke chapter 9 for today's study? Two men shared a hospital room, Mr. Wilson and Mr. Thompson.

They were older gentlemen who both had some fairly brutal ailments

and were in the hospital for several days you know, days by this time.

And Mr. Wilson, who was positioned by the window and then Mr. Thompson was positioned by the door

entry of the room, but sharing the hospital room. But they sort of became friends. You know,

Mr. Wilson couldn't watch TV. It gave them a headache, so they had to keep the TV off.

So they would pass

the time by just, you know, talking about family and their lives, and they were both Vietnam

vets, so they'd talk about the war and just kind of became friends, really. But what really

was their favorite part of the day is Mr. Wilson, by the window, he had a lung condition that

was, you know, his fluid would fill up in his lungs. And so they would prop him up once a day

in the afternoon in his bed so that he'd kind of get the right position. But he would then look

out the window and then tell Mr. Thompson everything he'd see. Oh, he told stories, oh, there's a park

across the street,

and there's these swans on the pond there, and tell them how many, and, you know, just give

a detailed description, and Mr. Wilson would, Mr. Thompson would listen, and Mr. Wilson would explain,

and, you know, there'd be parades on certain days, and he'd explain all the floats and the bands
