Hi friends. Hello, hello. Welcome back to Self Care Daily. I hope you are having a great

Monday so far. I had a topic in mind for this week. So just as every Monday, today I'm here

with a brand new intention for the week and our

theme that we are going to center all of our practices around. But as I sat down to record,

it didn't feel 100% authentic. So I am going to pull a little last minute switch here and

share with you a topic for the week

that is actually really resonating with my heart. And that is grief. And grief and grieving

feels like a very heavy thing to set as a topic for a week of self-care practices. And it also feels like something that

might come across us a little bit too big or overwhelming. But the more I think about it,

the more I sit with it, the more I feel that I'm not alone in actually having a real big need for my grief to get some space to exist

right now. Truth is, we are all grieving something. You might be in the midst of a big loss.

Life will bring us a loss at some point in our lives. It is inevitable.

Perhaps that is something that you are in the midst of, in the throes of right now. If you are in

the middle of a big open loss, there's nothing that quite compares to it and it can feel really

isolating and lonely.

So having a week of practices centered around giving that grief a little bit of space that just

exist can be truly a wonderful thing.

Now, if you're not in the midst of a big loss, grief is something that is present in our day-to-day

lives. Even if you haven't lost anyone recently or you're not dealing with a major sense of grief

right now, perhaps you are grieving the loss of a relationship, the loss of something that felt like an opportunity,

the loss of a dream. Perhaps you've closed a chapter in your life, and even though maybe you

know or you have an inkling that it's the right thing to do, you're still grieving the
