Welcome back to Buckeye Talk. What should we call this Doug mid mid week madness? It's

not Monday madness. We're dropping this on a Wednesday, but it's very much the madness

style. I guess it would not be unforgettable if we decided it's not to brand an episode

of this podcast. I love branding. Midweek madness. Oh, yeah. Wednesday wackiness. Oh,

okay. That wacky is kind of a hackney word. Yeah. Madness is probably better. Madness, there's

a seriousness of purpose, even in madness. We're wackiness sounds like we're we're just

well, then maybe we shouldn't call it madness. There's a series that notice how you said

seriousness of purpose. And I did not interject Buckeye talk. So very true. Doug is back from

vacation. I'm Nathan Barrett. He's Doug laymaries. He's he's he's back in the saddle. And we're

going to talk about the kind of this format that we introduced a couple weeks ago. We're going

to talk about a big picture thing. College football. We're going to talk about a state

college football. Then we're going to talk about some nonsense in the third segment. Watch

it. Watch it. Watch it. Eat those sort of things. Hope you guys enjoy that. But to start

off with, there was a fairly big piece of big 10 news. It was actually basketball news that

happened while you were gone. How immediately did you become aware as you were down there

on the teacups or whatever? How quickly did you become aware of the Joanne Howard slap

punch incident against Wisconsin? Yeah, like my daughter is very tuned in to college

sports. And so she got like an alert on her phone that was like, Joanne Howard punched

somebody. And I was like, so it's one of those things, as I'm sure happens with a lot

of people in the modern world, you get the one sentence description of the thing. So

I was prepared for their walking down the handshake line. And instead of shaking somebody's

hand, Joanne Howard just cold cocked. Oh, Wisconsin assistant. So that's what I was thinking
