Sometimes life just goes sideways and you can do all the planning and all the preparation in the world and things are still gonna come unglued.

There are different seasons of our lives and each one of them are different.

I'm going to talk to you about that today and also an update on what a typical day

in the life of Chilene Johnson looks like. I haven't done one of these and I don't know God maybe like 10 years not 10 years but probably least like eight years a lot has changed so I'm going to talk about what life looked like when we had little's at home, what it was like when they were in high school elementary, and how different my day looks today.

Some things that you get to look forward to, some things I hope that you can relate to. We're

going to do all of this while we're on a walk, all right? So please lace up your shoes or whatever it is you're doing.

If I had to decide on one lesson that I was reminded of today.

It is that it's gonna go sideways.

Life is never smooth. I remember when Brett and I first got married and it's like I don't know as a

teenager in your like early 20s you just have this you walk past or drive past these beautiful homes you see a nice car

out front they've got a manicured lawn you look at this like the landscape the lighting and you think to yourself wow when I'm that

age and I'm married and I have kids man everything's going to be so smooth.

Like that just looks peaceful.

But inside of those homes is a husband

who is screaming obscenities

because he just dropped something heavy on his foot.

Kids who are, you know, going berserk.

The washing machine needs repair and you just found out that your auto insurance has been

cancelled. Like that's the reality and I guess it's because of movies or TV or whatever that we just think

other people's lives are smooth sailing and that shit just doesn't go wrong but it does and it really this week like a
