Hello and welcome to another edition of WFA and Daly with Sal Lakata. Today's episode

is about Mike McCarthy and the Dallas Cowboys. Now, usually we do the New York stuff and I get it.

And I love doing the New York sports stuff too. But this is such a big topic. I had to chime in on it.

Plus, I'm not sure how long BT and I are going to be able to talk about it on the midday show.

So this is my time, baby.

And it's such a unique thing to where you have a head coach who won a Super Bowl before.

Obviously, Mike McCarthy did that years ago with the Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rogers,

who gets hired by the Dallas Cowboys and turns things around there to the point where they're consistent playoff contenders.

I mean, they've had 12 win seasons each of the last three years.

And he's gotten the most out of Dak Prescott.

The offenses look tremendous under Mike McCarthy.

During the regular season, they've been one of the better teams consistently over the last three years.

You can mention the record as we did, but you could look at them and watch them play.

I thought last year they're actually better than this year.

But anyway, you watch them play and you feel like they're about to pop off.

They're close. And yet, after they get beat in the postseason

game, and I know they didn't just get beat, they got embarrassed. The Green Bay Packers kicked the

snot out of them. It was embarrassing. And I think that was one of those games where it wasn't a

disparity in talent. It was obviously execution, game plan, all that stuff.

Like the Cowboys got the floor wiped on him.
