Janine, a small camp in the north of the West Bank of what is called Palestine.

Right near the border that crosses again into Israel.

A very small camp with a very large history of violence and threat to the whole region.

I first met Janine by reading about it at the early part of this century when there was a contest between the IDF and killers in Janine.

And now we are 20 years later the same story.

The headlines right now tell you that there is random violence throughout the region.

Israeli-Man killed in West Bank shooting attack reads the times of Israel.

Soldiers kill Palestinian gunmen.

Or IDF anti-tank missile from Lebanon explodes near border, artillery returns, or rockets out of Gaza.

All of this violence looks health or shelter, but I welcome Jonathan Schanzer of the foundation for the defensive democracies.

Because he will help us start in Janine and then build a much larger map of what is happening and who is driving it or what is driving it.

Jonathan a very good evening to Janine.

Until I third just days ago, 1000 soldiers from the IDF very carefully with thrones entered the Janine camp.

They were looking for men who are associated with attacks against Israeli citizens, murders, and threat to the whole region.

Why now Jonathan after all these years of peace and prosperity in Israel, in the Palestinian territory?

Why is the Janine camp one more time on fire? Good evening to you Jonathan.

The short story is that the Northern West Bank has become Wallace.

It has become a pocket of extremism, an area where the Palestinian authority,

the nominal authority run by the Palestinians.
