Well, like all patriotic Americans, I have a deep reference, almost a religious reference for the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

I believe that we're divinely inspired. And suddenly I find myself thinking very serious about whether we should tear them all up or not.

Yes, I'm talking about alligator Alcatraz. Hi, everybody. I'm Bill Whittle here with Steve Green and Scott Ott.

And I don't want to be misunderstood about this. The Eighth Amendment prohibits cruel and unusual punishment.

And it's pretty clear that Alligator Alcatraz falls into that category.

Everybody's concentrating on the alligators, but that's because they never lived in South Florida and I did for 25 years.

The reason I'm concerned that alligator alcatraz might be cruel and unusual

punishment is not the alligators, it's the mosquitoes. The Everglades you see is the largest

natural breeding ground for mosquitoes on the face of the planet. It's, it's, it's, it's, it's

back puddle. And having spent some, uh, many nights in my youth at a place out on alligator alley called Shark Valley,

we used to drive out there for dark skies so we could get a good look at the stars at night.

I can tell you that the mosquitoes are the size of hummingbirds,

and they pick you up and fly you away back to their lair and eat you at their leisure.

Mark Twain was talking about the size of mosquitoes in the south, by the way, and he said that

in Arkansas, mosquitoes are so big that they can vote.

He later amended that to say, well, maybe not vote, but he definitely believed they were canvassing.

In any event, guys, I'm one of the few people that I know that has been to Guantanamo Bay twice,

voluntarily, as it turns out. And many of the facilities at Alligator Arcatraz have the same

kind of look as Camp X-ray, just basically chaneling fences. Now, the beginning, the intro, obviously,

is being facetious. I think that Alligator Arquitraz is an excellent idea, and let me start

by asking you what you think about this. Steve, I got to know a guy who was one of the chief

interrogators. We talked about this on Scott Show during the Iraq War.
