Welcome to Mystery Recipe. I'm Molly Burnbaum, editor-in-chief of America's Test Kitchen kids.

Get ready for a brand new week of exciting food science on Mystery Recipe.

Each week we talk about the fun, fantastical, and

fascinating sides of a brand new kitchen ingredient. And at the end of the

season we'll use all of the ingredients to cook a mystery recipe together.

So far we have discussed onions, salt, olive oil, and tomatoes. Any guesses what

our mystery recipe will be?
