Glad to have you with us here on a gloomy Friday afternoon where I am. Hopefully the weather's a little nicer where you are. I know we might have a couple windy and potentially rainy games that we're going to have to factor in this weekend. Nothing that really has me overly concerned yet. And don't worry, we're going to take all that into account and we do the Sunday rankings updates because that's when we have a better idea of what the forecast is

going to be for Sunday and Monday and normally people overreact to the weather impacting games

anyway unless it's like extreme it really doesn't tend to affect things as much as people think

what does affect things are all these injuries and we got a lot to go over as usual today. So let's get going here. We'll start with the quarterbacks. Justin Fields, he's been ruled out as expected. Tyson Bejant, he's going to get the start for Chicago and Bayesian's not a great fantasy play. Even in two quarterback or super flex leagues, you don't really want to have to be going with him unless you're completely desperate. And he does force us to bump down DJ Moore and Cole Commet, more into the low-end wide receiver two, high-end wide receiver three range, commit more of a TD dependent streamer play now. And we'll talk about what's going on in that Bears backfield when we get to running backs in a second, but we got some injuries that we got to deal with there too. Deshawn Watson, he's listed as questionable after he got in two practices this week. And according to reports, he's expected to start. They wanted to test that shoulder out with a full practice on Friday. Initially, I thought they were going to wait until Saturday to see how he was feeling and then make a decision. But I guess it went so well on Friday that they made the call right then and there. Tom Withers of the Associated Press, he's the one reporting that Watson will be starting this week. So that's good news for the offense in what's a very favorable matchup going against the Colts. Watson's going to be around quarterback 15 in my next rankings update, so a high-end streamer. and as long as that shoulder holds up fine, it's going to be a positive here for Amari Cooper.

And then the backfield projections, they're going to get helped a little bit too. so Jerome Ford, a high-end RB2, and Kareem Hunt, a high-end RB3, as long as Hunt is active,

he's listed as questionable after getting in three straight limited practices. Brian Dable

saying that there's a chance that Jones plays, which that made some headlines, but Jones

hasn't even been cleared for contact yet, and this is a

neck injury and a guy who has a history of neck injuries.

So you don't want to be messing around with this at all.

Dable admitted that Jones was probably on the wrong side of questionable.

I don't expect him to play.

And weirdly, that might be a good thing for this offense because Tyrod Taylor, he looked

kind of poised out there last

week and he dealt with that pass rush a little better than Jones has been recently and

Tyrod's a quality backup. So they'll almost certainly be rolling with Tyrod this week. I'll be

stunned if we find out that Daniel Jones is going to play. And we're not really changing much in

terms of the projections for all the skill position guys in New York because Tyrod's not a huge drop off from what we've seen Daniel Jones doing in this offense this year.
