It's a light week by Big 12 standards, but it's a wildly important week in the Big 12 conference.

So the Big 12 only has five games on the schedule this week. You're starting

to get into that time of year when the buys are happening. But don't overlook this week. I know there's

all the big national games, the Red River, you've got Ohio State, Oregon, but this week

we'll go a long way into deciding what happens in the

But let's dive into the top storylines here for week seven in the Big 12,

and then I'll give you some picks.

I look at this week, and I look at one game in particular.

There's a couple of games that really stand out.

But the old Big 12 North matchup in Boulder, Colorado, late on Saturday night, is going to be tremendous theater

and a wildly important game in the Big 12 race. If Kansas State loses that game, they fall to

one and two in Big 12 play, and it's hard to see a pathway at that point for Kansas State without a crazy number of
