in the Big 12, and it was another exciting week. We only had five games because of various buys that were taking place.

But it was another week where underdogs didn't just cover the spread.

Underdogs won outright in multiple games in this conference.

So let's just go right through it.

And let's start with the Big 12's Friday night

thriller where Arizona State keeps it rolling beating Utah at home 27 and 19, another underdog

that gets an outright win. Arizona State would be the greatest story in the Big 12 and maybe the best story in college football,

if not for this team in Provo, Utah, which we'll get to here in a minute.

But Kenny Dillingham and his son Devils were picked to finish dead last in the

Big 12 conference this year, 16th at a 16, and they find themselves sitting at 5 and 1 overall and 2 and 1 in the Big 12.

If I told you a month and a half ago that you would have Arizona State with a better record in the Big 12 and overall, but for the big 12 sake, then Arizona, then Utah, then Oklahoma

State, then Kansas. What would you have said to me? You would have called me nuts. And by the way,

I'm not saying I was predicting that because I wasn't. But I am just here to tell you, this is why they play the games, right?

As the old Arizona head coach, Herm Edwards, infamously said.
