This is a real quick look at all the headlines, just everything across the board

as you start your day and the show starts

right now. And we always start with the top story. I feel like this one

hasn't gotten too much coverage but it's starting to. Thousands of hotel workers are currently striking.

On Sunday, around 10,000 of them walked off the job and keep in mind it was a holiday weekend.

They're demanding higher pay and the reversal of pandemic era cuts.

These workers are represented by the Unite Here Union and it includes staff from Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt Hotels,

a representative for the group said hotels are making record profits

while employees aren't making enough to support families.

A representative for Hyatt said they're disappointed with the strike since the company is willing

to negotiate. I will see how long this

lasts and how it's resolved.

All right, okay, on to sports. Let's talk about Shohay O'Tani for a second.

He recently became the first and only member

in the 44-44 club in professional baseball.

That means 44 home runs and 44 stolen bases in a single season.

Nobody's ever done it before and now everyone's watching hoping he can reach 50-50

before the end of the season. The Dodgers have 23 games left in the regular season and the odds are pretty good that he'll reach 50-50 and then some beyond that probably.
