And we always start with the top story.

I absolutely hate to say it but the top story today is another school shooting yesterday morning at

Appalachian High School in Georgia, about 45 minutes northeast of Atlanta.

There were some conflicting reports out there yesterday, but this morning it appears that

four people lost their lives at

the hands of the gunman, that's two students and two teachers. Nine others were

injured. The suspect a 14-year-old was taken into custody and later in the day authorities revealed that

that suspect had been previously investigated last year when he was 13 in connection

with threats to carry out a school shooting. Pest up.

All right, okay, getting into sports.

Tonight is the night the 2024, 2025 NFL season has arrived. I feel like I was just watching the Chiefs win the

Super Bowl and it's already back. Travis Kelsey, Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the

chiefs are going to open the season at home against the Ravens. That game starts at 815 Eastern on NBC.

One of the Paralympic athletes making headlines right now

is a 19-year-old named Ezra Frack.

He just won two gold medals in two days back to back.

100 meter dash which he was not expected to win and then high jump. He broke a
