Two Russian missiles hit an educational institution and a hospital in the Central Ukrainian city of Poltava yesterday.

Hundreds of people were injured.

And Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky said yesterday that many people were trapped under the rebel.

The attack coincided with a renewed push by Ukrainian leaders.

They're urging allies to lift restrictions on allowing Ukraine to use long-range Western

supplied weapons on military targets inside Russia.

Ukraine has long said that the rules imposed by allies, including the United States,

make Kyiv unable to prevent missile attacks across the country by

destroying Russian military infrastructure. There's been a recent surge in Russian

attacks across Ukraine, and Ukraine's push into Russia's Kursk region last month has not slowed Russian

advances into the country's east.

Number two, John McCain's son said he plans to support Kamala Harris for president.

Jimmy McCain is the youngest son of the late Republican senator from Arizona.

Yesterday, he said he changed his voter

registration from independent to Democrat. Speaking on CNN, he expressed outrage

over a recent altercation at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia that involved

Trump campaign staff. It's a violation because these rules are set in place.
