How you don't? All the takes he gave you on Sunday. Yeah, Rogers came humming. The response has been

incredible. Rogers was great and here we are a few days later. Still talking about it's pretty cool.

When you were gone, there's a lot of people around here saying Peter should be here. It's ridiculous. He's not here. And I said, you have to be so insecure to go after Peter like that. Keep Peter's name out of your mouth. We kept them in line. Yeah. We did. Right. We did. We got you. And Peter's right. The Jets are still leading the conversation. They're the lead block. Let's go. Let's go. Let's go. It feels so good to say that. That's real football Thursday night.

That's real football Thursday night. But they're still dealing with the fallout from Sean Payton's comments last week. We've already heard from Aaron Rogers, as we just mentioned. Well, finally, coordinator spoke yesterday at just training camp. That means Nathaniel Hackett got to respond to himself. Here is what he had to say.

I've been involved in this business my whole life, 43 years. And as a coach, as a coach's kid,

you know, we live in a glass house. We know that. We all live in different rooms. We all got a key for it. And it's one of those things that there's a code, there's a way things are done

in that house. And, you know, this past week, it's frustrating and those things that there's a code, there's a way things are done in that house.

And, you know, this past week, it's frustrating and it sucks, but we're all susceptible to it. There are things that you do, mistakes you make, and it costs you time on the field, cost you your job, all those things. And I own all that stuff. I mean, it's that fact. I got no excuses. That's how we live here at the New York Jets. That's how we've lived everywhere I've been, no excuses.

So I own all those things.

And it's unfortunate that that had to happen,

the comments that were made, but hey, they did. I'll tell you, I was probably more surprised that they happen now, was definitely expecting them in week five. So I'm almost thankful that we got

that out of the way. We all understand where certain people feel and think. I thought that was really well said, Peter. What did you think about Hackett's words? I think he was well said and he was direct. And it was like, all right, can we end it now? Can we stop it? I feel like that's where he was going. We're going to deal with it in week five. Let's deal with it now. Let's be over with it. Let's move on. Real quickly, though, Hackett gets fired in Denver after 15 weeks. It's an embarrassment. Obviously, he's worked his entire life. He's 43 years of coaching or 43 years of his life to get to this point. And then it all comes crumbling down. And got to think that's an embarrassing thing for him. Something that Rogers hit on when we spoke was he's an amazing family man. You might say, well, they're all amazing. Hackett has two young kids and a wife, and they got fired in Denver, and they have to move to New Jersey. But, you know, when you have a family and you come to this new town and the kids are coming here
