Sean O'Hare. It's been a great week so far. I'm not sure if you've heard about this, and I know it hasn't ever been discussed on this show before, but Aaron Rogers is a jet, and so is his old offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett. Peter Schrager caught up with Hackett on his podcast, and that's what's kicking off our lead block.

Alan Lazard and Randall Cobb. So given what we just heard from Hackett and the plethora of former Packers on the Jets roster,

1:38.3

has the team gone too far in handing the reins over to Rogers both on and off the field? Sean. No, absolutely not. That was part of the plan. This is like telling your kid that you're going to give him an Xbox and a PlayStation and you're going to move everything up into his room. He's going to get his own TV, he's going to have three screens, but that he can't play with it whenever he wants. That's a terrible plan, terrible idea. So part of bringing him in there was Rogers is going to have the freedom and the ability to just change things and do what he wants to do at the line of scrimmage. Now, the best position possible, what that dictates to me is, all right, as a center, I had to see what my quarterback was seeing as well. So put us in the best position possible. That's how do we attack the defense?

2:20.8

And there's a lot of times you come up to the line and you see that they're in a defense you weren't expecting and you've got to be able to change gears right away. You've got to be able to shift.
