The House of Representatives is expected to vote on a resolution to finally create a

committee to investigate the January 6th Capitol Insurrection.

It has only taken six whole months.

The committee will be made up of 13 members, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi will appoint

eight members while the remaining five will be selected in consultation with House Minority

Leader Kevin McCarthy.

Pelosi did not reveal who she plans to choose to chair or serve on the committee, but an

eight told CNN that she is seriously considering a Republican as one of her eight picks.

And something tells me it'll either be Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger.

Meanwhile, on the Republican side, apparently some of the members angling to get on the committee

include Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Bobert, and Matt Gates.

So the ones who voted not to certify the election results and tweeted on the morning of the

Insurrection that today is 1776.

Personally, I don't know if I'll be satisfied with any committee unless we get to see Trump's

it for at least the equivalent of three Hillary Clinton testimonies.

Next we have an update on the condo collapse in Surfside, Florida.

As of yesterday, there are now 12 people confirmed dead and 149 still unaccounted for.

President Biden is planning to visit the site and call for an investigation into the collapse.
