First we have some major updates from Britney Spears' team.

Yesterday, both her manager of 25 years Larry Rudolph and her court appointed attorney

of 13 years Samuel Ingham both resigned.

Rudolph claimed that he was resigning in light of Britney sharing her decision that she

is retiring.

And as for Ingham, his resignation needs to be approved by an LA County judge and will

become effective upon the appointment of new counsel.

Since Ingham became counsel, his salary was covered by Jamie Spears, which according

to reporting in the New Yorker, can be upwards of $500,000.

Also yesterday, one of Britney's remaining co-conservators, Jody Montgomery, issued a statement

saying that she has no plans to resign as conservator.

I'm claiming that Britney asked her to continue to serve as recently as Monday.

For context, it has been reported that Jody Montgomery was hand-picked by Jamie Spears

to serve as Britney's temporary conservator when he was stepping back due to health issues

in 2019.

And Britney's next court hearing is scheduled for July 14, so make sure to block your calendars.
