We have kind of a light news day, so today we're going to go through a few headlines that

speak for themselves.

First, some philanthropic news.

Phil Smith gifted the city of New Orleans $100,000 in pirate techniques so they could

have a 4th of July firework show.

The display wasn't jeopardy because of a lack of funds, and it seemed unlikely that it

would be able to go on, until Phil Smith saved the day.

Now we have a quick update on the condo collapse near Miami.

On Sunday night, their main portion of Champlain Tower South was destroyed in a control

demolition.

The death toll from the collapse is currently at 28, with more than 100 people still missing.

And the search is planned to continue now that the demolition is done.

Remember the giant cyber attack by Russian hackers against a ton of companies from this

weekend that I talked about yesterday?

It appears that somewhere between 800 to 1500 businesses were involved in the attack, and

the hackers are demanding $70 million in ransom.

Did these people realize they could easily get more if they hacked into Jeff Bezos' portfolio?
