And it always starts with the top story.

We'll begin again with another update on Saturday shooting at former President

Trump's rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

We found out yesterday that in addition to raiding the suspect's home and vehicle, the FBI sent his phone

to Quantico where technicians managed to gain access.

If they have found anything useful,

they have not said that yet.

It also came out that law enforcement spotted the gunman

and flagged him as suspicious,

nearly 30 minutes before shots were fired and officer saw him walking around took a

picture of him and called it in. Reportedly wasn't clear if he had a gun at that

point or not I would guess not but not long after shots were fired and the life of a rally goer was taken.

Also, this seems to be unrelated to Saturday shooting, but we're finding out that the

Secret Service were aware of an alleged Iranian assassination plot against the former

president. They had supposedly ramped up security on account of that, so it makes it even more

curious how this even happened on Saturday. All right, okay, on a sports.

First, some sad news broke yesterday in the sports world.

Joe Bryant passed away.
