the top story. Former President Trump continues to dominate news. We are

learning more about Saturday's assassination attempt. We now know that the shooter

bought 50 rounds of ammunition hours before the incident. Authorities are still trying to determine

a motive. Also yesterday, he officially announced his running mate at the

Republican National Convention 39 year old Ohio Senator JD Vance wrote that

book Hillbilly Elegy which was eventually made into a movie.

Several years ago, he was very critical of Trump

and has recently changed his tune.

The two of them were formally nominated yesterday

at the RNC for the24 presidential election.

And lastly, in Trump news, it broke yesterday

that a judge in Florida dismissed the criminal case

accusing him of illegally keeping classified documents

after leaving office.

That's a big legal victory for him.
