Good to see you. It's a real quick look at all the headlines across the board as you start today and

the show starts right now.

And we always start with the top story.

As expected news broke yesterday morning, the Vice President Kamala Harris tapped Minnesota

Governor Tim Walz as her running mate.

That process typically takes months and this announcement came to 16 days after she

launched her campaign.

Like I said, that news came out yesterday morning and then he joined her on stage at her rally in Philadelphia last night

And now that the DNC has officially nominated her that's the ticket Harris and Walls

All right, okay, on the sports, another day, another Olympic update. The men's basketball team crushed Brazil yesterday, 122 to 87.

Nice job, Phyllis.

That means they're on their way to the semifinals

to play Serbia tomorrow night.

The winner of that game will then play

either Germany or France for gold. Charles Barkley said said if we don't win the gold those

guys should not be allowed back in the country. Also yesterday the women's

soccer team beat Germany won to nothing very exciting game they now advance to play for the gold medal

uh playing in the gold medal match for the first time since 2012
