It's first thing with Kevin Mano. That's me. Quick look at all the headlines across the board as you start

your day and it starts right. Now we And we always start with the top story. This one is everywhere right now.

First yesterday it came out that two men were arrested in connection with an alleged plot to attack a couple

major events in Austria. These men allegedly had ties to ISIS and one of those events was a

Taylor Swift concert. She had shows scheduled tonight, tomorrow, and Saturday in

Vienna and these guys were apparently planning an attack. Then shortly after that news broke

it came out that the organizers of the concerts were pulling the plug.

They're canceled. The statement said, quote, we have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled

shows for everyone's safety. I know that's tough for fans, but they made the call as if now Taylor herself is not released any sort of statement regarding

All right, okay, on the sports and other Olympic update today. One of the events that got the most attention yesterday was runner Quincy Hall,

coming from behind to take gold in the 400 meter final. It was a huge

comeback. That's very cool to see. I've got that video up in our

Instagram stories this morning if you haven't seen it at first thing pod.

In women's basketball team USA beat Nigeria 88 to 74 they're

going to move on to play Australia in the semi-final tomorrow. A guy named

Hampton Morris won the first US men's weightlifting medal in 40 years.

He's 20 and he trains in his garage.

Very impressive.
