Real quick look at all the headlines, just rip through them so you feel like you know what's going on

and you start your day and the show starts right.

And we always start with the top story. Hurricane Debbie is now tropical storm Debbie,

but the downgrade doesn't mean it isn't intense.

Terential rain and extremely high winds are still hitting parts of Florida, Georgia,

South Carolina, North Carolina, it's moving very slowly up the coast and as of now it's

responsible for taking at least four lives. Hundreds of thousands of

customers are without power this morning and more than 1,600 flights were

canceled nationwide yesterday on account of Debbie.

I also read that a million dollars worth of cocaine washed up onto a Florida Keys beach

yesterday, a beach goer found 25 packages and contacted authorities.

According to the National Hurricane Center the storm is quote

expected to produce potentially historic rainfall with maximum amounts of

30 inches bringing areas of catastrophic flooding across

portions of eastern Georgia, the Coastal Plain of South Carolina, and Southeast North Carolina

through Wednesday. morning Simone Biles and Sunni Lee both stumbled on the balance beam. They did not

meddle for that one, but Simone went on to take silver on the floor routine and with that

her journey in Paris has come to an end. She's coming home with four new medals to add to her collection,

three gold and one silver.
