America, Hope is making a comeback.

Iraq and Michelle Obama electrified Democrats at their Convention in Chicago.

And if I sound a little sick today, it's because I have a toddler in daycare.

Let's get you caught up with today's seven stories.

Last night, the former president and first lady threw their support behind Vice President Kamala Harris.

The Obama's are two of the most popular figures in the Democratic Party,

and in their speeches they sought to bring back the feeling

that swept them to the White House in 2008. Barack Obama connected Harris to his

own nominating convention. This convention has always been pretty good to kids with funny names who believe in a country where anything is possible because we have a chance to elect someone who has spent her

entire life trying to give people the same chances America gave her.

Obama also had some choice words for Donald Trump.

Here's a 78 year old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems

since he rode down his golden escalator nine years ago.

It has been a constant stream of gripes and grievances that's

actually been getting worse now that he's afraid of losing the comma.

Some Republicans also criticized Trump at the convention.

Former Trump White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham

said that Trump had mocked his supporters as, quote,

basement dwellers.
