episode of Everyday Truth.

We're talking about a good guy for once today.

I feel a little bit bad because we've been talking about Jeroboam, who was a bad king in the northern kingdom.

And then we talked about Rehabam, who didn't fare much better in the southern kingdom. And then we talked about Rehobam, who didn't fare much better in the southern kingdom.

And then we talked yesterday about Rehabom's son, Abidim, and he was a chip off the old

block.

So we're 0 for three on Kings after Solomon dies.

But today we have a refreshing

contrast to that pattern

because we're going to introduce a man

by the name of Asa.

And I would encourage you

to go to Second Chronicles

Chapter 14, 15, 16

and read the longer story of his life because Asa was a man whom God

blessed, a man who trusted the Lord. Now, his life ended badly, and that's sad, but again,
