First up, Fox News agreed to settle a landmark defamation lawsuit yesterday.

The Minion, a voting systems company, was suing the network for airing false claims that its machines were rigged

against President Donald Trump in the 2020 election. The settlement was

reached just as the trial was about to begin. Justin Nelson and attorney for Dominion spoke

outside the Delaware court after the announcement. Today's settlement of

$787,500,500,000 represents vindication and accountability. Lies have consequences.

The settlement lets Fox avoid a drawn-out spectacle, but some damage has already been done.

And the story isn't over. Fox faces a similar lawsuit from Smartmatic.

That's another voting technology company.
