Caitlin Nolan. I cannot wait for this episode because I've never deep dove into wedding planning.

I've talked about some fun things here and there on Instagram and YouTube and TikTok about like

wedding dress shopping and venue touring, but I've never deep dove into like my hot takes or even just the specific

questions that I've gotten, like if we're going to have alcohol in our wedding and like the

save and splurge aspect to wedding planning. So I'm very excited today to dive into it. I'm honestly

a little bit nervous because I feel like I have a very specific view of weddings and wedding

plannings and I always have.

And most of the time it's pretty different from what I hear and what I see online.

So take everything I say today with a grain of salt, please and know that all opinions are just my own.

And you can absolutely do whatever you want.

And there's no right or wrong answer, especially with something like a wedding that's so specific to you and

your fiance. So take what I say at face value. But before we get into all that, I want to get

into my not your typical obsession, dislike, and word of the week. If you guys are new here,

I do these obsessions every single time that I record a podcast and just gives you a little deeper look

into my past week, which if you guys didn't see, we were actually in Laguna all week last week.

It was probably my favorite trip we've ever done. We were there to wedding venue tour and also

to pick up my wedding dress because I picked out my wedding dress in San Diego when we lived in California.

So I obviously had to go back to that exact same boutique to do the final fitting.

So that's kind of what prompted the entire trip.

And then we set up wedding tours.
