It is the second episode of 2022, but it is my first episode on the mic with someone other than Asha Dornfest for this new year and this new chapter of the show.

Good. How are you?

Great. Thank you for having me. Thank you for having me is your first guest post-Aasha. What a huge deal that is.

Yeah. Yeah. It is a huge deal. And I've said in various places, or written, rather, that it's a real strange feeling to both miss her on the mic and then also feel excited and energized for this transition and whatever's

happening. So I don't know. I guess it is possible to hold those two things because I am

holding those two things. For sure. I think that's a great way to think about it. And I just

wanted to take a second to acknowledge the body of work that you two did together because,

I mean, how many hundreds of episodes was it? Yeah, well, 253 total. So it was like it was a lot.

That's incredible. I mean, that's amazing. And you two did great stuff. And I know there's more to come.

And it's just very cool. So good for you. Thank you. Thank you, John. Well, I think it was really fitting.
