Summary

It’s 2 a.m. when a young man jolts awake in his bed. Still groggy, he sits up, confused about what pulled him from sleep, until he notices a strange figure standing motionless near his wardrobe, half-swallowed by the darkness. He calls out to his roommate. The figure slowly turns to face him. Its eyes are hollow, empty of anything human. And in that moment, he realizes the truth: it isn’t his roommate at all.
