All right. So last week, Sam and Lee went on assignment to an actual assignment, not a made-up assignment.

Went on assignment to New York City for the annual SCBWI conference.

And I want to hear all about it.

I couldn't go.

We had relatives visit.

My in-laws were visiting and just doing family stuff.

So I was at home doing that while these guys were out partying.

Oh, yeah, big time party.

Oh, man.

It was a whirlwind of adventure and laughter and fun and exhausting, too, at the same time, of course.

So exhausting, but in the best way. The the best way, yeah, it was incredible.

And I got to see you in person for the first time. That was super fun. I got to meet Sam's husband, too.

And so, you know, it was sort of an svious in-person extravaganza. But then also we got to see so many

students in person, too, that we've known over the years and editors and art directors that we have worked with previously.

It was all the things. It was way more than I thought it was going to be. I didn't really know what to expect. I hadn't been to one in a long time, so we're going to unpack it in a couple of different ways.

We're going to talk about the work and the workshops and our takeaways and sort of the experience. But in general, Sam,

what do you think of the experience? Like what, what's just in terms of the trip?
