Amber Hird has asked a judge to declare a mistrial in her ex-husband Johnny Depp's

defamation case against her, which was ruled in his favor last month.

And they have a legitimate reason why.

Her attorneys alleged that one of the jurors wasn't supposed to be there.

So the jury panel lists sent to lawyers before the trial, included an individual listed

as being born in 1945, making that person 77.

But that voter registration information also listed a 52-year-old with the same last name

living at the same address.

So the individual who appeared for jury duty with this name was the younger one, not the

person who was 77.

The 77-year-old was supposed to be sitting on the jury, like in the jury.

But instead, the 52-year-old from that household sat on the jury instead.

And that person was never summoned for jury duty on April 11th, the 77-year-old.

So it was like a switcheroo in the household.

And nobody picked up on that.

And so they said a mistrial should be declared in a new trial ordered, which means they

would have to go through the whole thing again.
