You're on The Bert Show.

So those of you that have been in Atlanta for a long time, you know the name, Jimmy Barron, who is on Morning Axe and just kind of legendary radio show here in Atlanta.

And he and I are friends and he's also my real estate agent.

Hiss me up with a text yesterday, just said, very heartfelt and compelling stuff this week, you're doing okay.

And I wrote, I'm a bag of

emotions, happy and sat at the same time. How's that even possible? And he wrote back and he said,

it's exactly what I'd expect. My guess is this is one of those things where the buildup and

anticipation is so much more intense and emotional than once you've said goodbye. When I left radio, one of the

reasons I didn't miss it so much was because I knew I had left it all on the field. I didn't feel

I had more to do. And he writes, Bert Show, you've left it all on the field and then so. That's sweet.

That's very sweet. And then he just dropped off some packing tape.

Because we're all getting the hell out of all. It makes sense from a realtor to give packing tape, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And, because, again, we're already fighting over stuff apparently here at the station that we want to take. Abby, you can have all six rolls each other. We're just going to duct tape you to that chair. see you Monday. We're back. The bird show returns.

All right. All right. What's the next? Okay. We are all like the way these shows are flying by. Like there are days. We love our job, right? Like we love what we do. But there are days when we look at the clock and we're like, how is it only seven o'clock? I feel like we better.

These shows have flown by.

So I came across, as I've been doing digging and, you know, just looking for stuff,

I came across this video from five years ago.

And we have to play it with.

I just want you to get again the proper accolades for what this show has accomplished for the last 25 years.

So now five years ago, we were in a global pandemic.

And it is crazy to remember that we did this show from home for like over a year.

We never missed a show. When everything shut down, we all went out and we got either

gaming headphones or just used anything that we could from our house. The shows, the audio of it
