And today we are continuing our conversation about pay disparity and what to do about it.

How to opt out of being stuck in the cycle of feeling underappreciated,

undervalued, and ultimately underpaid.

Monday's episode, I covered how we need to move beyond advocacy, how we need to get beyond

just waiting for systems and policies and laws to insist upon

everyone getting paid their worth. And instead, we need to talk about real practical skills.

That doesn't negate that it is painful to be undervalued. And we tapped into that when we talked about Tragi P. Henson

and her very real and raw heartache about her pay.

I told you my own personal story of devastation,

of not getting paid my worth,

and I'm sure you have one as well.

But we need to talk about what are the skills that we can develop in the now that can turn

into actual more dollars in our bank account.

And today we're going to talk about two of those skills.

We're going to talk about team building and networking.

So if you have a moment or time and you have a sheet of paper nearby, each of these topics

we're going to go into, I'm going to give you a few tips and I'm going to set up a challenge
