| 0:58.1 | feeling her pain and feeling triggered. Maybe that was you. Her tears were real and honest, |
| 1:06.6 | and it was hard to not feel something when you heard Taraji talking about the many decades of |
| 1:13.4 | excellence she's given to the acting field and to know that the compensation just wasn't where |
| 1:19.1 | it should have been. And I want to talk about it. I want to talk about it through several |
| 1:25.4 | different lenses. And so this is just episode one. |

| 2:03.9 | I'm not anti-raising awareness on this issue, but what I am going to push you to do is to get beyond |
| 2:11.4 | being stuck in the struggle of fighting for more money from a system's perspective. |
| 2:18.8 | And instead, I want to talk about practical ways I've been able to leverage more money in my life. |
| 2:25.2 | In practical ways, I think all black women, all of us could use skills that we could develop |
| 2:30.9 | to make sure that we are getting paid our worth. |
