As Joe Biden prepares to announce his vice presidential pick, a group of influential

Democratic women activists send out a warning to the media.

In the letter sent to network executives, newspaper editors, and others, the group wants to put

them on notice that coverage of Biden's running mate that plays into racial or sexist

tropes that the candidate is too ambitious or not likeable or as too emotional is unacceptable.

We will call out those who we believe take our country backwards with sexist and or racist

coverage the activists wrote.

We'll talk to one of the signers of that letter, Elise Hogue, president of the Pro Choice
