For these years of fraud and misconduct, we are seeking an order to dissolve the NRA in

its entirety.

It's clear that the NRA has been failing to carry out its stated mission for many, many

years.

And instead, as operated as a breeding ground for greed, abuse, and brazen illegality.

This New York Attorney General Letitia James on Thursday announcing a groundbreaking

lawsuit against what has arguably been the most powerful lobbying organization in America,

the National Rifle Association.

The lawsuit accuses the group's top officials, starting with executive vice president Wayne

Loppierre, of essentially using the NRA as a personal piggy bank, diverting millions

of dollars in member dues to pay for lavish, all expense paid trips to the Bahamas, a

safari in Africa, use of 107 foot yacht in the Caribbean, golfies, gifts, and much else.

The suit by James, a Democrat, has enormous political implications, given the huge sums

the NRA has spent in recent years to boost the campaigns of Donald Trump and Republican

members of Congress.

We'll discuss the NRA lawsuit with Yahoo News' Hunter Walker and with Frank Smythe, author

of a new, unauthorized history of the gun rights organization.

this year's presidential race and that in 1932, when FDR swamped Herbert Hoover during
