0:40.0	X since 2012. And at the time when I got on there, I felt like I had plunged myself into this
0:47.0	kind of weird, woke fight that I was already late to. So I say that to bring up and point out the fact that a lot of what I'm seeing on social media
0:59.4	right now I've seen before.
1:01.6	I was present on Twitter at the time through basically most of the arc of the woke fight,
1:12.5	whether in the atheist movement, whether in Gamergate,
1:17.1	as it erupted across campuses in 2014 and 15,
1:22.2	spilling over through social media, of course.
1:25.7	Black Lives Matter through 2014 and 15 as it erupted through, well,
1:32.2	it boiled, I should say, boiling on the left through the back half of the 2010s, erupted in 2020.
1:41.2	And since, I've been there, been there, done that.
1:49.1	And what I want to tell you, let's just put the message up real fast right up front.
1:52.5	Social media, y'all, is fake.
2:01.6	Like, you don't know how fake it is unless you are starting to like understand now that it's so visible how fake it is.
2:07.7	But the point of this episode of the podcast is to communicate to you that when you are on social media,
2:10.9	you are in a propaganda battlefield.
