Hey everybody. It's James Lindsay. You're listening to New Discourse's Bullets, where I give a short bullet point-like summary of a single topic from

wokeness that you need to understand so we can defeat it. And I'm going to be

an inspirational speaker to you today. I'm going to tell you that you make a difference and not

some corny way. This is a thing that I've said on stage so many times and so many people have

told me it's meant a lot to them that I want to share it with you because a lot of people

want to get involved. They want to stand up. They want to speak up. I want to share it with you because a lot of people want to get involved.

They want to stand up. They want to speak up. They want to do something. They don't know what they can do. I'm not going into all the different things about how you can get involved in a big way

locally in your local government and your state government. You can start going to meetings,

school board and county council meetings and so on. You can run for office. You can support somebody who is. I did that

podcast about you can be a leader or you can be a supporter. I talked about even just being there for

your kids and being a great parent and being a great grandparent and putting intentional time away from devices

to get together and connect. I've talked about a lot of different things you can do. A lot of people

are always like, what can we do? What can we do? And they tell me, James, I feel really small.

I'm just one person. I'm just a whatever. Maybe it's a bus driver. Maybe it's a, you know, a guy working in an office. Maybe it's this. Maybe it's a bus driver. Maybe it's, you know, a guy working in an office. Maybe it's

this. Maybe it's that. I'm just a whatever. I'm not a lawyer. I'm not of this. I hear this all the time.

I'm just a teacher. I'm just a mom. I'm just a dad. What can I do? And what I can tell you and what I

tell people all over the country is that you absolutely need to stop discounting the effect that you can have.

So I'm going to tell you basically a story.

But I'll tell you exactly how I tell this on stage.

I'll tell you how I explain this to people, is that I actually
