President Biden is traveling to Scotland right now for a start of a high-stakes global climate summit.

Air Force One is expected to touchdown in about a half hour, kicking off a full day of events for the president. Biden will deliver the leader's statement at the summit, attend an event on climate

solidarity, and hold a bilateral

meeting with the Indonesian president. The commander-in-chief faces a difficult task in Scotland,

trying to convince allies that the U.S. can lead on climate action, despite his own agenda

still being stalled at home. The president was asked about this possible dilemma yesterday.

Can the world and others be confident that you will be able to follow or do, make good on the

promises on climate change that you will, that you have made when you're at Glasgow without

a vote having taken place on your bill?

It's going to pass in my view.
