comes from Ezekiel chapter 47 verse 1 and 2 notice this in my vision the man brought me back to the

entrance of the temple and there I saw a stream flowing east from beneath the door of the temple

and passing to the right of the altar on its south side the man brought me outside the wall through the north gateway and led me around to the east of the east of the altar on its south side. The man brought me outside the wall through the

north gateway and led me around to the eastern entrance and there I could see the water flowing

out through the south side of the east gateway. We're talking today simply from the subject

waterways, waterways, waterways, waterways. You may be seated.

This is the prophet Ezekiel, and he's having a prophetic vision, and he is seeing something

of the temple of God. And all things for the Jewish people, these Israelites emanated from the temple. When they

built their communities, the temple was built in the center of the community so that all of their

life literally revolved around God's house, God's temple.

So instead, you know, it's amazing that we have moved the temples now to the suburbs and

city hall is at the center, the political, the economic base.

But in the biblical times, with the Israelites,

they put the tabernacle, the temple, was constructed at the center,

and then their other life, all of their economic life,

their banking, their commercial life, all of their economic life, their banking, their commercial life, their political life,

all of that was around and the center of it was the temple. They did that positionally from a

physical standpoint to always keep God in the center of their thought.

Their lives revolved around God.

How far have we gotten away from that?

That's a message in and of itself.

But here, the prophet was who's a great seer and Ezekiel saw more than just a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
