Chapter 3 in verse 1, to everything, there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven.

We're speaking today from the subject, seasons and cycles.

Seasons and cycles. You may be seated.

Whether you realize it or not, there are different seasons in life, whether you're in your

tender teens, your teachable 20s, your tireless 30s, your forcible 40s, your fearful 50s, your

season 60s, your settled 70s, your achy and 80s, your nebulous 90s, or your peditious hundreds.

Wherever you are growing through all of the vicissitudes of life,

you will begin to discover that life has a myriad of changes for us.

And these seasons represent different stages in our life.

They represent stages of growth, they represent stages of

transition, and they represent stages of change in life, change in ministry, change in business.

Things are not the same. I meant this is not the same as it was in the days

of our grandparents. Things have changed. Things have changed. And in the incredible

change that we have, then we sometimes, while we might be consistent in doing what we are doing,

you might get up and have the same breakfast, you might be saying the same prayers, getting

up thanking the Lord, and then all of a sudden your life, while you're still doing the same

things, you experience a dry season.

And you wonder, I wonder why it feels like I'm in a dry season

when you're in a dry season you can pray but it doesn't feel like your prayers are getting above the ceiling

you just don't feel the anointing the way that you used to. You almost feel like God has your own in timeout.

Because things are not flowing. Things are not just happening for you in the way that they have been.
