Trigger warning, we're going to be talking about sexual assault in this entertainment

buzz. Backstreet boys member Nick Carter is being sued for sexual battery over an alleged

incident with a minor back in 2001. 39-year-old Shannon Rose, who says she was 17 at the time.

And according to her and in a press conference, she detailed was invited by Nick to his tour

bus after a concert in Tacoma. Rose, who has autism and cerebral palsy, says she was

given alcohol. Before Nick brought her to the bus's bathroom and ordered her to perform

below on him. She claims she was crying during the ordeal and he kept instructing her.

She says he then took her to a bed on the bus and continued the assault. When she threatened

to report what he did, he threatened to turn against her and said no one will believe

her. The doctors say Rose, who claims she was a virgin before the assault, contracted

HPV afterwards and is now seeking damages. Now Nick Carter's lawyers call the claim not

only legally meritless but also entirely untrue and says Ruth is being manipulated by an

opportunistic attorney. But in the midst of this allegation, ABC has pulled the Christmas

special, a very backstreet holiday. This special was supposed to air December 14th featuring

all the backstreet members to promote their 10th album, a very backstreet Christmas.
